The Spiritual Awakening Colour
I was reminded of this colour recently when it appeared twice in the same week, for the first time in many months. The first time was during an aura sketch; a tiny cloud of it sparkling away in the top right corner of the page. The second time was a few days later during a healing, when I found this colour behind the person’s right shoulder. “Have you recently started meditating?” I asked her. She looked at me, a little surprised “Yes, I have.”
To put it as simply as I can, the Spirit Awakening colour is found in a person’s aura when they have recently, or are about to, experience a spiritual awakening. A spiritual awakening is a feeling of awakening from illusion or slumber, or emerging from a small space and discovering a much larger world than you previously thought possible. It is found in the aura when we have spiritual experiences that involve altered states of mind, where our sense of what is real and possible is challenged, and ultimately expanded.
I’ve had a few of these moments throughout my own life, so I’ll tell you about them, to give you an insight into this colour. When I was in my early twenties, pregnant with my second child, I was doing a lot of meditation and had quite a few experiences that probably ignited this colour in my aura. The first was a strange experience while sitting on a chair. I suddenly realised I was sitting on a lot of empty space. I was studying chemistry at the time, so my mind was often thinking along these lines. Atoms contain a lot of empty space, after all! Somehow I ended up on the floor, peering at the leg of this chair, and I had the mind-altering experience of ‘seeing’ the particles that made up the chair, and all the space between the particles. I never quite looked at solid things the same way again after that.
Another time when I was meditating, my consciousness expanded and I realised I was one with everything. This experience consolidated my existing sense of interconnection with the world around me. Prior to this, I had always had a strong sense of empathy, and certainly had an intellectual belief that all of life is interconnected, based on an understanding of ecology. But I had never actually experienced being one with everything.
Then there was the time when strange things started happening to my vision. First it was a spiral, that would fill my vision and be superimposed over everything, almost like it was hanging in front of me and moving around with me. It was a bit like a tunnel or a vortex, bit seemed flatter. That lasted about 6 weeks. It was really annoying because I couldn’t work out what it was. Eventually I realised it was my spirit guide Tomas. After that passed, I started seeing an X shape in front of my eyes. This was my spirit guide Khryse. When I worked out what it was, the visual distortion went away.
A few years later, I was regularly talking to my spirit guides. There was an older guide who talked with me a lot. I didn’t really know what to call him. Sometimes I called him Grandpa of Rainbows because he taught me about aura colours, and sometimes I called him Master, or Father Sky, because he seemed to be ‘the boss-dude’ as my inner teenager would put it, at the pinnacle of my internal spirit guide hierarchy .
This man was always telling me two things. One was “Everything will come to be as it is meant, when it is meant.” (Very annoying having to hear that kind of guru-gabble when you are an impatient person who wants real answers!). The other was “Remember One, remember One.”
I’m not entirely sure what he meant by the latter. My take on this was that he wanted me to remember the spiritual experiences I’d had in my life where I realised we are all One, like the meditation experience I described earlier. Perhaps he was also encouraging me to become one within myself, to re-member or reform my own wholeness.
One day I went to my healing teachers house for a gathering and received a healing from another student. This lady was older, and she was a channel…not just a healing channel but also a verbal channel. The first thing that happened while I was on the table while she was healing me was an altered state. I felt as though my body had lifted off the table and was slowly spinning in mid air. Very disorientating. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, she suddenly says to me “Remember One, remember One.” Well. That was all just a bit too much for me. To have a stranger I’d never met quoting those special words I’d never repeated to anyone; I went home a spent the whole day cleaning and scrubbing walls.
You can tell when I’m happy because my house is messy. If it suddenly becomes very clean you can be sure I’ve suffered some kind of disorientating experience I’m struggling to make sense of. Nothing like some neurotic house-cleaning to soothe the soul!
Interesting experience! Your visual disturbances remind me of my own I had in my early 20s after attempting suicide (when I was 18). My solution was to get glasses! LOL After awhile they were just messing my vision up so I stopped wearing them 😛
Funny you mention the thing about messy equaling happy for you. It’s usually the opposite isn’t it? Or maybe that is my judging function in my personality type talking! LOL Do you have a “P” instead of a “J” in your personality type? 😉
P.S. I forgot to add I concluded my visual problems were likely due to sinus or migraine related stuff. Needless to say I don’t find the glasses helpful and don’t wear them
I think I have different kinds of happy associated with my personal space. I have another, different kind of happiness linked with clear surfaces and a lack of clutter. I can be quite ruthless when it comes to throwing things away in a quest for simplicity. But yes, different personality types for sure. Which personality system are you referring to?
Sorry, Myers-Briggs.
Ok I have no idea what type I am! My daughter loves personality systems and I vaguely remember her talking about my personality according to different systems but I can’t even remember what the system was, let alone what all the P’s and J’s etc mean. What is P and J?
