The Goddess call me

into Quiet and Stillness

A darkness turns my face from the light

I need to curl up and shut you out

Hold that thought

I will get back to you

Another year or three from now

Perhaps….

I hear enticing laughter

Coming from within

It will slip away and I’ll never know

Where it leads

If I don’t shut you out

Go away

So I can go within

and sleep
