The King and the Dragon

Once upon a time there was a sad King, sitting on a very cold and uncomfortable throne, in a dark chamber closed off from the light. He was all alone. Someone had boarded up the windows and taken his cushions away. He moped. The King’s chamber was dusty and musty and there was no fire lit in the hearth. Outside her could hear the sound of crowds cheering and he knew the ambassador had them in the palm of his hand, supposedly in the Kings name, whilst the King sat locked away in this forgotten room.

Reading aura colours around the hands

When I sketch the aura, I use a full-body sketching format, rather than just the head and shoulders. This is a bit like pulling a seven card tarot layout, where each position in the layout has a different meaning, rather than choosing just one card and having no layout pattern at all. By using different body areas to represent different parts of a person’s life, I can cross-reference colours with positions for greater accuracy, just as the tarot reader cross-references tarot cards with positions in the tarot spread.

The rule of three- training via repetition

I was talking to a friend today about her desire to become a spiritual healer. She was having trouble finding a teacher in her part of the world that she felt comfortable with, so I reminded her of the value of ‘inner teachers’; spirit guides and invisible friends who take us under their wing and guide our training. It is useful as a spiritual student to have helpers in both our inner and outer worlds.

The aura colours of pregnancy

During the launch of my new book Aura Colour Therapy¬†earlier today, I did a few sample readings to demonstrate how the Aura Cards can be used for counselling and personal development. In my first reading, we all had to laugh when three of the first four colours were all orange. This lady was most definitely an ‘orange’ lady in personality: vivacious, warm and very much an individual.
