Omanisa is a Gaian healer. She is a rainbow shaman, a nature-spirit medium who loves working with the spirit-medicine of nature.

A shaman is a healer with a deep spiritual connection with Nature and an ability to go into trance and take visionary journeys into the realm of spirit of behalf of others for the purposes of healing and spiritual growth.

Omanisa was initiated onto this path at a young age. She developed an interest in shamanic practices at the age of 14 and began training herself to enter visionary trance states. At the age of 16, an American Indian Shaman visiting central Australia took Omanisa on a vision quest, where she met her power animal, the rainbow spider.

Like the spider with it’s web of rainbow colours, Omanisa can feel and sense vibrations in the grand interconnected web of life that connects us and runs through us. Om is blessed with the spirit medicine of spider, spider who wove the first words, who feels vibrations through her web; spider who sews repairs into the fabric of your aura and helps you weave new connections, new energy lines, new stories….

Omanisa is a qualified naturopath with over 17 years experience with a passion for working with herbal medicine and the spirit-medicine of plants.

Omanisa grew up in Central Australia with elders who fostered within her a great love for Nature and a special connection with plants. Om’s grandma Anne was a doctor who loved exploring the outback with her photographer husband and botanist brother, photographing wildflowers in her time off. When she retired from medicine, she wrote a botanical book called “Wildflowers and Plants of Inland Australia”, with help from her botanist brother Peter, who established the plant walks and the herbarium at Uluru-KataTjuta.
